Evaleen Stein

Evaleen Stein (October 12, 1863 – December 11, 1923) was an American author of poetry and prose as well as a limner. She was the author of eleven volumes of stories and three books of verse. In addition, she translated two volumes of poetry, one form the Japanese (When Fairies Were Friendly) and another from Italian. An ardent lover of nature, Stein reflected this tendency in most of her poems and stories.
