Feathery degeneration
In histopathology, feathery degeneration, formally feathery degeneration of hepatocytes, is a form of liver parenchymal cell (i.e. hepatocyte) death associated with cholestasis. Cells undergoing this form of cell death have a flocculant appearing cytoplasm, and are larger than normal hepatocytes.
