Film Fest Gent

Film Fest Ghent is an annual international film festival in Ghent. The festival held its first edition in 1974 (under the name 'Internationaal Filmgebeuren Gent'). Since then, Film Fest Ghent has grown into the largest film festival in Belgium with more than 100,000 visitors annually. For decades, the festival has put the spotlight on film music, which makes it a unique film festival on the calendar. Since 2001, Film Fest Ghent organizes the World Soundtrack Awards, a series of prizes for the best soundtracks for film and television.
