Flint War Council

The Flint War Council (also known as the SDS National War Council) was a series of meetings of the Weather Underground Organization (WUO) and associates in Flint, Michigan, that took place from 27–31 December 1969. During these meetings, the decisions were made for the WUO to go underground, to "engage in guerilla warfare against the U.S. government," and to abolish Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).
