Fons Teheux (29 October 1933 – 25 May 2021) was a Dutch politician and member of the Catholic People's Party and later Christian Democratic Appeal. In his 27-year career as mayor, he was mayor of several places in Limburg: Wijnandsrade (1966-1972), Gulpen (1972-1982) and Simpelveld (1982-1993). In his last year as mayor of Wijnandsrade, he was also acting mayor of Wittem as a temporary replacement for the sick . Teheux retired in January 1993. Teheux was Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau and honorary citizen of Gulpen and Simpelveld. Teheux died in Geulle on 25 May 2021, aged 87.
