Frederick Barlee

Sir Frederick Palgrave Barlee KCMG (6 February 1827 – 8 August 1884) was Colonial Secretary of Western Australia from 1855 to 1875; Lieutenant-Governor of the British Honduras (now Belize) from 1877 to 1882; and Administrator of Trinidad in 1884. From January 1856 to March 1857, Barlee was Acting Commissioner of Police. Barlee was elected a member of the American Antiquarian Society in 1878.
