Gavin Strachan
Gavin David Strachan (born 23 December 1978 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish former professional footballer, current coach and sports journalist, who is currently first team coach at Scottish Premiership club Celtic. He is the son of manager and former player Gordon Strachan, and he was assistant manager at Doncaster Rovers from 2015 to 2018, then Peterborough United from 2018 to 2020. Spending most of his early years with Coventry City, Strachan has played for ten different senior clubs, and is a self-described journeyman. He was capped eight times for the Scotland national under-21 football team.
