George C. Jenks
George Charles Jenks (13 April 1850 - 13 September 1929) was an English-born American dime novelist. Among others he wrote as part of the Nick Carter stable. He also wrote Diamond Dick stories as W. B. Lawson, and is credited as the creator of the character. He died aged 79 in 1929, leaving a widow and two sons, Charles J. and Frank H. Jenks.
