Gimmel Foundation
The Gimmel Foundation (קרן גימל - Keren Gimmel in Hebrew) is a New York City and Israel based non-profit foundation, which funds projects and programs aimed at improving Jewish education and Jewish identity in the Southern region of Israel. The foundation was founded by Rabbi Dr. in 1980. Since then, the Gimmel Foundation has worked with over 18,000 children and adults in 53 programs offering various educational, cultural services. Program run by the foundation include: After School Club, Senior Citizens Group, Needy People Fund, Junior High School Tutors, Reading Programs, Summer Camp.
