Greg Monroe

Gregory Keith Monroe Jr. (born June 4, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Khimki Moscow of the VTB United League and the EuroLeague. In his freshman season at Georgetown University, Monroe was named Big East Rookie of the Year. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2010 NBA draft with the seventh overall pick and became the last Pistons player to wear the number 10 jersey, after the Pistons retired the number for Dennis Rodman at halftime of a game against the Chicago Bulls on April 1, 2011.
