Gutowski is the surname of a Polish Szlachta (nobility) which is one of the oldest recorded names of nobility. The first surviving record found is in 1241 as the Chancellor of Poland, Wawrzęta Gutowski. As with all Slavic Nobility, All males that inherit the name and believe in Szlachta still hold noble titles in the kingdom. The kingdom isn't land or Government but blood. Most of the families belong to the Clan of the Slepowron ( ancient nobility ), one of the original clans, located south of Warsaw, in the Duchy of Mazovia. Then later name spread into 4 other clans.
