Havelte

Havelte is a village in the northeastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Westerveld, Drenthe, about 60 km south-southwest of Groningen and 120 km northeast of Amsterdam. Havelte was a separate municipality until 1998, when it became a part of Westerveld. In 2001, the village of Havelte had 2770 inhabitants.
