History of GNK Dinamo Zagreb (2000–present)
In the new millennium, Dinamo Zagreb continued to land more trophies, winning at least one domestic competition per season, save for 2004–05, when they were knocked–out of the Croatian Cup and finished seventh in Prva HNL. The club then changed its name back to Dinamo Zagreb on 14 February 2000 as the former name, Croatia Zagreb, adopted in 1993, had never really been accepted by their fans.
