Horepse

Horepse (Greek script Χόρεψε, English translation: "Dance") was the Greek entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997, performed in Greek by Marianna Zorba. Rumor has it that the music was originally composed by Chris Spheeris as an instrumental and that the lyrics were later added by Manolis Manouselis. This is a false rumor. Manousselis wrote the entire song. It is true that Spheeris wrote a song called "Horepse" but the similarity between that song and the one of Manousselis ends there. The song is about the power of dance to rejuvenate people.
