The InterContinental Hotel Tamanaco is located in Caracas, Venezuela. It was designed in an art deco style by John Wellborn Root Jr. (1887–1963) who also designed the Palmolive Building (1929) in Chicago. In 1957 it was the subject of a set of postage stamps issued by the post office of Venezuela.
