The International Appeal of 7 June 2020, "Towards a cultural renaissance of the economy", was signed by creatives, economists and leaders of international organizations, and was published simultaneously in Corriere della Sera, El País and Le Monde. It offers a new vision of culture and the economy. Culture is a key component of sustainable development and should have its status as a guiding thread for the economy restored. The economy will then "be able to fully express its humanity, once it has been permeated by all the rich potential of culture".
