International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications
The International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique, and Applications (IUVSTA) is a union of 34 science and technology national member societies whose role is to stimulate international collaboration in the fields of vacuum science, technique and applications, and related multi-disciplinary topics. IUVSTA is a Member Scientific Associate of the International Council for Science (ICSU). The history and structure of the Union are described in two articles in scientific journals.
