Jaʿafar Al-Naqdi

Jaʿafar Bin Muḥammad Bin ʿAbdullah Al-Rubʿi Al-Naqdi (17 April 1886 – 20 October 1950) was a Shi'ite religious scholar, poet, judge, and author. He was from the governorate of Maysan, Iraq. His full name is: Jaʿafar Bin Muḥammad Bin ʿAbdullah Bin Muḥammad Taqi Bin Ḥassan Bin Al- Ḥussein Bin ʿAli Al-Taqi Al-Rubʿi.He was born and raised in the city of Amarah – the administrative capital of the Maysan province – before his father sent him to The Najaf Seminary or Hawza Najaf to study for several years.
