Jack Wrout
John Everett "Jack" Wrout (8 October 1911 – 16 June 1981) was an Australian rules footballer who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Wrout debuted in the VFL for North Melbourne. He made the move to Princes Park and made his debut for the Carlton Football Club in Round 12 of the 1936 season. He broke his leg in a game against Footscray in 1944 and was forced into retirement. Wrout later served a long administrative career at Carlton, serving as chairman of selectors.
