Jacques Sauvageot
Jacques Sauvageot (born April 16, 1943 in Dijon, died on October 28, 2017 in Paris) was a French politician and art historian. He was, along with Alain Geismar and Daniel Cohn-Bendit, was one of the spokespersons for the period of May 68, the name given to all the revolt movements that occurred in France during May–June 1968. He was later vice-president of the National Union of students of France (UNEF). He was elected president in December 1968 and chaired it until May 1969.
