Jeżyce [jɛˈʐɨt͡sɛ] is a part of the city of Poznań in western Poland. It was one of the five governmental districts (dzielnicas) into which the city was divided prior to 1990, and which are retained for certain administrative purposes. For details, see Administrative division of Poznań. The district of Jeżyce covers the north-western part of Poznań, with an area of 57.9 square kilometres (22.4 sq mi), 22% of the city's total area. Its population of 81,300 accounts for 14.2% of the city's total. Its population density is 1,404 persons/km².
