Jim Farr

James Alfred Farr (born Friday, May 18, 1956 in Waverly, New York) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Texas Rangers in 1982. He was 6 ft 1 in, 195 pounds, and he threw and batted right-handed. Farr attended Penn State University. In 1976 and 1977, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Less than one month after his debut, on October 3, 1982, Farr pitched his final Major League game.
