Jim Stump

James Gilbert Stump (February 10, 1932 – November 19, 2015) was an American professional baseball player who appeared in 11 Major League Baseball games as a relief pitcher for the 1957 and 1959 Detroit Tigers. He threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and weighed 188 pounds (85 kg). During his two MLB trials, Stump worked in 242⁄3 innings pitched; he allowed 23 hits and 12 bases on balls, but only seven runs, six of them earned, for a career ERA of 2.19. He struck out eight.
