John Stockdale Rhea

John Stockdale Rhea (March 9, 1855 – July 29, 1924) was a U.S. Representative from Kentucky. Born in Russellville, Kentucky, Rhea pursued preparatory studies.He attended Bethel College, Russellville, Kentucky, and Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in 1873.He served as prosecuting attorney for Logan County in 1878 and 1882.He served as presidential elector on the Democratic ticket in 1884 and 1888.He served as delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in 1892 and 1896.
