Josh Rivers

Josh Rivers (born 1986) is the founder and host of Busy Being Black, a podcast exploring how we live in the fullness of our queer Black lives. a former editor of Gay Times. He was an editor of Gay Times until November 2017 after it was revealed on BuzzFeed UK that he had used his Twitter account in the past for tweets which were variously homophobic, antisemitic, racist, transphobic, and body-shaming. He was the paper's marketing manager before being appointed editor. He completed a HND in fashion studies (2006–07) at the London College of Fashion and was a "Diversity role model" in 2016. He then worked in member relations at Soho House Group and as head of new membership at Second Home.
