Juan Antonio Buschiazzo

Juan Antonio Buschiazzo (October 29, 1845 – May 13, 1917) was an Italian-born Argentine architect and engineer who contributed to the modernisation of Buenos Aires, Argentina in the 1880s and to the construction of the city of La Plata, the new capital of the Buenos Aires Province. In 1886, he founded the Central Society of Architects and became its president between 1888 and 1891 and again between 1901 and 1902. Between 1908 and 1910 he participated in the Commission for the International Centennial Exposition. He died in Buenos Aires on 13 May 1917.
