The station is owned by the Univision Local Media subsidiary of Univision Communications, as part of a duopoly with Modesto-licensed Univision owned-and-operated station KUVS-DT, channel 19 (and its Sacramento-licensed translator KEZT-CD, channel 23). The two stations share studios on Arden Way near Cal Expo in Sacramento; KTFK's transmitter is located near Walnut Grove.
