Kadriorg

Kadriorg (Estonian for "Catherine's Valley") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Kesklinn (Midtown), Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 4,561 (As of 1 January 2015). The subdistrict name derives from the Catherinethal, a Baroque palace of Catherine I of Russia. It is one of the wealthiest regions in Estonia. The official Presidential Palace of the President of Estonia is situated next to Kadriorg Palace in the park.
