The Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is an Indian Twenty20 cricket league established by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in August 2009 and modelled after the Indian Premier League (IPL). As of April 2018, there are 8 teams competing in the league. The KPL has been beset with allegations of corruption.
