Katherine Aaslestad
Katherine Barbara Aaslestad (30 May 1961 - 24 April 2021) was an American scholar. She was a professor of history at West Virginia University in the Department of History. She won the Caperton Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Writing and the Benedum Distinguished Scholar Award as well as outstanding teaching awards from the WVU Foundation, the Eberly College and the Honors College. Aaslestad died on 24 April 2021, aged 59.
