Kilju (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈkilju]) is the name of a Finnish home-made alcoholic beverage, known in English as sugar wine. It is made of sugar, yeast, and water, and sometimes toppings such as citrus fruits, apples, berry juices, or artificial flavourings. Its alcohol content is usually 15–17% ABV.
