Korean Chinese cuisine

Korean Chinese cuisine (Korean: 중국 요리; Hanja: 中國料理; RR: jungguk yori) is a hybrid cuisine developed by the ethnic Chinese and the ethnic Koreans in South Korea. Despite being derived from Chinese cuisine, Korean Chinese cuisine consists of unique dishes with Korean flavors and ingredients. Most Korean Chinese restaurants in and outside South Korea are owned and operated by Koreans rather than ethnic Chinese as discrimination within South Korean society forced many Chinese people to sell their restaurants to Koreans and leave the country. In South Korea, the food is usually delivered. In the United States and elsewhere, Korean Chinese dishes are typically served in Korean restaurants as well as in Chinese restaurants whose owners are immigrants from Korea.
