Lee Jong-joo
Lee Jong-joo (Korean: 이종주; born 1972) is a South Korean bureaucrat currently serving as the spokesperson of the Ministry of Unification from February 2021. Lee is the first woman to hold the position since the ministry's establishment in 1969. Lee previously served as the deputy spokesperson of the Ministry from 2009 to 2011 and the first woman to become a deputy spokesperson of any South Korean government agencies.
