Peter Leonardus “Leo” Geurtjens (15 March 1924 – 5 April 2020) was a Dutch sculptor. Probably his most known sculpture is the “Zoete Lieve Gerritje”. “” appears as a historical figure of a song about Den Bosch. The in the 1950s tourist office director in Den Bosch wanted to link it more to the city, in which the girl was in his idea a farmer's wife. Geurtjens was asked to create a sculpture, that was placed in the Binnenzijde in 1958. Also in Brabant and North Limburg are artworks of Geurtjens.
