Leslie R. Caldwell
Leslie Ragon Caldwell (born 1957) is an American attorney, and was until January 13, 2017 the Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice. She has spent the majority of her professional career handling federal criminal cases, as both a prosecutor and as defense attorney. Since September 2017, she has been a partner at the law firm of Latham & Watkins, resident in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, CA.
