Maalan Narayanan (Tamil: மாலன் நாராயணன்) is a journalist from Tamil Nadu, India. He is a member of the Tamil language Advisory Board for of Sahitya Akademi, the Board of Studies for Tamil Literature of University of Madras, the Commonwealth Journalists Association, and the South Asian Literary Association. He was the editor of Puthiya Thalaimurai and Puthiya Thalaimurai Kalvi, as well as the Director of Planning and Development for the Puthiya Thalaimurai TV channel.
