The Madrid Barajas Airport People Mover was the first driverless transit system constructed in Spain and the longest airport people mover system in Europe began transporting passengers between the Terminal 4 (T4) and its satellite terminal (T4S) of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport in Madrid. The route is 2km in length and can carry up to 13,000 passengers per hour.
