Makaleng

Makaleng is a small village in the North East district of Botswana, roughly about 60 km from the nearest major town of Francistown. The village includes many ethnic groups; the two major ethnic groups are the Bakalang and the Bakhurutshe. Makaleng has a small clinic which also serves as a supplies center for other villages surrounding Makaleng, such as Sechele, Mambo, Masingwaneng, Toteng and Matenge. The village has a pre school, a primary school and a community junior school which admits students from the aforementioned surrounding villages. * v * t * e
