Marlène Schiappa (French pronunciation: [maʁlɛn ʃjapa], Corsican: [ˈskjappa]; born 18 November 1982) is a French writer and politician, serving as Minister Delegate in charge of Citizenship, attached to the Minister of the Interior, in the Castex government of President Emmanuel Macron since July 2020. She previously served as Secretary of State for Gender Equality in the government of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe from 2017 to 2020.
