He has been described as "one of the youngest and most prominent pianist/conductors in New York today" (Le Figaro – France Amerique), "a natural and enormous talent" (Chicago Sun-Times) and "fabulous and exceptional" (Pravda, Moscow). He is the winner of the 2009 John and Mary Virginia Foncannon Conducting Award, and a prizewinner at the 2018 Bucharest Symphony Orchestra International Conducting Competition.
