Merryland Studio

Merryland Studio was the second film studio in Kerala, India. It was established in 1950 by the legendary P. Subramaniam in Nemom, who was also known as Bheeshmacharya of Cinema.He was well known for his success in business, political influence and cinema where he went on to produce 70 films, with 59 of them directed by Subramaniam himself. Their home productions were produced under the company Neela Productions. Merryland Studio was famous for their professional rivalry with Kunchacko's Udaya Studio, which was the first movie studio in Kerala.
