It was released as the second promotional and sixth overall single from her first Spanish album, Mi Tierra. This promotional single was released exclusively to Latin-radio stations at the United States. It reached number-one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and has also been released in Argentina. A music video was made to accompany the song.
