Middle Passage

The Middle Passage was the stage of the triangular trade in which millions of West Africans were forcibly transported to the New World as part of the Atlantic slave trade. Ships departed Europe for West African markets with manufactured goods (first side of the triangle), which were traded for humans, as African warlords and kings were willing to capture and sell members of other tribes.
