Minersville, Nebraska

Minersville is a former railroad town in Otoe County, Nebraska, United States. It was located approximately 5 miles (8 km) to the south-southwest of Nebraska City and 2 miles (3 km) east of the Nebraska City Municipal Airport. It was founded in the 1850s and dissolved by the early 1900s. The town was on the Missouri River until the Army Corps of Engineers redirected the river 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the east.
