Nansen East-West Dialogue Academy NEWDAY is a 10-day summer school which takes place annually at Nansen Academy in Lillehammer, Norway. The summer school offers daily lectures and discussion groups, and seeks to provide a platform for university students from East Asia and the Nordic region to learn and debate about contemporary issues based on acquired knowledge of Eastern and Western thinkers and humanitarians. The issues dealt with are presented by scholars from leading universities in the East Asian region (China, Japan and South Korea) and the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) as well as from Europe and the United States.
