New College of the Humanities at Northeastern
New College of the Humanities (NCH) is a private college in London, England. It was founded by the philosopher A. C. Grayling, who became its first Master. The college, which grants undergraduate and master's degrees, is owned by NCH at Northeastern Ltd. after Northeastern University, a private American research university based in Boston, Massachusetts, acquired it in February 2019. A year later, NCH at Northeastern Ltd. was awarded degree-granting powers for a period of six years. The college, which specializes in the humanities, prides itself on offering an education that combines aspects of the Oxford and Cambridge tutorial system and the American liberal arts college.
