New Left (Poland)

New Left (Polish: Nowa Lewica), until February 2020 known as the Democratic Left Alliance (Polish: Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej) is a social-democratic political party in Poland. It was formed in 1991 as an electoral alliance of centre-left parties, and became a single party on 15 April 1999. The party is a member of the Party of European Socialists and Progressive Alliance. In 2020, the party changed its name and logo to the New Left as a step in merging with Spring, which is planned in 2021.
