Paddy O'Donovan

Patrick Joseph O'Donovan (15 March 1916 – 11 June 1990) was an Irish hurler who played as a right corner-back for the Cork senior team. O'Donovan joined the team during the 1938 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1949 championship. During that time he won five All-Ireland medals, six Munster medals and one National League medal. O'Donovan was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. At club level O'Donovan was a ten-time county club championship medalist with Glen Rovers.
