Price River Formation
The Price River Formation is a geologic formation in Utah. It preserves fossils dating back to the Cretaceous period. The Price River Formation is approximately 200 metres (660 ft) thick at its type locality (Price River Canyon) and consistsof cliff-forming sandstone and siltstone visible in the Book Cliffs.
