Razmik Mouradian

Razmik Khachikovich Mouradian (Russian: Размик Хачикович Мурадян; Armenian; Ռազմիկ Խաչիկի Մուրադյան; born May 20, 1938) is a Russian-Armenian monumentalist sculptor. Mouradian was born in Yerevan, Armenia on May 20th of 1938. He moved to Moscow at age 16 in the 1950s and graduated from the studio of Nikolai Nikoghosyan in 1956. Initially, Mouradian's sculptures were portraits, exclusively in wood and marble but later, in the 1970s, he began to make full figures and statues out of bronze. Mouradian currently resides in Moscow.
